2nd Thursday Social, June 14th Portland's Mississippi Avenue 2nd Thursday Social takes place this month on June 14th from 6-9 PM. Come take in the art, dining and shops, and while you're strolling, stop in and visit us at Black Wagon! This month we are proud to feature the art and illustration work of Bishop Lennon. Bishop's work is best described as whimsical. Bright color and a fanciful, fun sense of wonder are present throughout her work. Children and adults enjoy finding their initials, names, or just their favorite letter in her best-known, petite, painted alphabet series. Bishop strives to create a modern twist on traditional alphabet images. Her 4" by 4" paintings have been featured in 7x7 magazine, dailycandy.com, and eat.shop.San Francisco.
