This mattress is manufactured by hand in Los Angeles with a 90 year old family tradition. The incredibly soft organic cotton cover is quilted with organic wool to provide natural cooling and moister wicking. You will stay at your comfortable temperature with our unique mattress design.
There are no chemicals present in this mattress and no chemicals used in the manufacturing. This is the healthiest twin mattress on the market today! Why would you put your baby on anything else? The firm 100% Sri Lankan natural rubber is the primary material for this crib mattress. The 6" rubber core is wrapped with a unique quilted outer to create a perfect 8-9" mattress.
Our special quilting blend is made from layered organic cotton fabric, organic batting, organically processed wool from organically raised sheep in California, and covered in attractive European organic cotton fabric. Quilting all this together to form the outer casing allows for maximum amount of topping materials. This also provides the most durable construction and uniform supportive sleeping surface available in a crib mattress.
This mattress all exceed the highest California flame retardant standards set into place in July 2007.

Best European long stem organic cotton fabric is used to make a rugged outer cover. Our organic cotton outer fabric is professional looking and has a soft touch to caress the sheets and pillowcases you place on top of it.
Organic Pure Grow WoolTM Quilted Layer:
The Pure-Grow WoolTM is the only wool that is carded on a machine that runs only this wool from the organic sheep. That keeps out all chemicals and impurities. The wool is removed in a single fleece and placed on the skirting table; there it is inspected for length, strength, dirt and pests. Care is taken to keep the wool as clean as possible during shearing to eliminate any need for chemical treatments to remove burrs, brands, dirt and other impurities. This process keeps our wool optimized for resiliency, and springiness without adding oils.
Natural rubber core:
Known for its hypoallergenic qualities being resistance to molds, mildews and dust mites our natural rubber is the only commercially available rubber that is 100% chemical free. No other latex meets our high expectations of freedom from chemicals. Only natural vegetable based soaps are used for washing. To support this claim Pure-Rest used an independent testing lab available to confirm al used rubber was 100% chemical free.
Organic Cotton Batting:
We use USA organic batting as it is shorter staple and therefore fluffs up more than a longer staple. This is the secrete ingredient to a quality organic mattress.
